Use VoipBuster from your mobile phone or PDA.

There are several ways to make cheap VoipBuster calls with your PDA/Windows mobile device:

Through a dedicated access number.
With the VoipBuster mobile client.
With the VoipSMS client for your Windows Mobile 5 / 6 / 6.1 device
Via 3rd party client software.

Call to a local number, after the voice prompt enter the (international) number and VoipBuster connects your call.

How does it work?
Login on your Account on the website, go to 'Make VoIP calls via your mobile phone' and follow the instructions.

you need GPRS / UMTS (to let the application initiate the call via internet)
you need JAVA (CLDC 1.1 / MIDP 2.0) most newer phones support this

The VoipBuster mobile client software is in BETA test. We've noticed that the software doesn't work for every mobile phone.

How does it work?

on your MOBILE phone go to http://gsm.voipbuster.com (on some mobiles you need to choose 'download application' on some phones you can just go to the webpage)
download and install the application, start the application
in "settings" fill in your VoipBuster username / password and your OWN mobile phone number (it's the A-side of the call)
go to the dialing part, select a phonenumber from your phonebook and press call.
Your phone will ring first. After you pick it up, we will dial the other number. Wait for reply and start talking.

The VoipBuster rates for calling to your mobile number and the number you wish to call apply (plus a callsetup fee of 5ct). Costs for the calls will be settled via your VoipBuster account, so make sure you have enough credit.

Example: You are in the USA and wish to call a landline in the UK. You pay a callsetup of 5ct plus a rate of 18Ct/Min + 1Ct/Min = 19Ct/Min

Send SMS textmessages with your VoipBuster account from your Windows Mobile device to avoid the high sms charges of your mobile operator.

You need:

a data connection (wifi / umts / gprs / etc). Please consider that data costs may apply from your mobile operator.
.NET Compact Framework 2.0. Most Windows Mobile versions already have this installed. If not, click here

How does it work:

For PDA's with Windows Mobile 5 / 6 / 6.1 click here to download VoipSMS 2.1.2

Copy the CAB file to your mobile device and run it
After Installation you will find it in your Programs folder. Start the application.
You will have to setup your account through Menu - Options - Accounts. Fill in the following information:

- Name: enter any name you wish
- Link: select Voipbuster in the pulldown
- Username: enter your VoipBuster username
- Password: enter your VoipBuster password
- From: enter your mobile number in international format
(this number will only be used if you have previously verified it through our pc client. If not: start VoipBuster on your pc, go the sms tab, enter your mobile number in the 'My Phonenr' field and send a sms)
Send sms textmessages from the main screen. In the pulldown you can select a contact. Enter your text and click Send!

The VoipBuster rates apply for the sms textmessages you send, so make sure you have enough credit on your VoipBuster account.

You can download special client software for your PDA or mobile phone (for example from SJ Labs). With this software and your VoipBuster username and password you can use VoipBuster on your mobile phone.

How does it work?

Download install and start the SJLabs software matching your mobile device.
Select the optionsmenu and click the profile tab.
Create a new profile by clicking the New... button.
Type the new profilename (e.g. VoipBuster) and click OK.
A new window appears where you should click the SIP Proxy tab.
Fill in Proxy Domain: sip.voipbuster.com : 5060, User Domain: sip.voipbuster.com and click OK.
In the new window you can fill in your VoipBuster username and password and click OK. (for some versions of the software you should first restart the SJphone software to do this).
Restart the SJphone, right click on the SJphone program and select Restart.

Dial a number with the 'Call to' field.
